Gain a practical, hands-on introduction to Electrics in just two days.

Designed for those with no prior experience of electrics this course allows you to learn the essential practical electrical skills to become a successful candidate on our Part P courses.

Gain practical experience within the following areas:

Health & Safety

Introduction into electrical installations

Regulations

Making area safe through isolation

Zones

Ring main circuits (sockets)

Basic lighting circuits

2 Way Including: Lighting circuits, Lighting, intermediate circuits

Radial power circuits (cooker points etc)

Earthing and bonding procedures

Calculating cable sizes

Load demands

Three phase

Testing and inspection

What do I need to bring?

Tools and overalls are provided for use within the training centre only. You may wish to purchase one of our tool kits and start to become accustom with the tools within the kit whilst on your electrical training course. A mobile canteen sells a selection of hot and cold food at lunch time.
