Course Details:
With the release of the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, came the need for a new, relevant qualification.
The City and Guilds 2382 qualification is the qualification to obtain if you wish to demonstrate a good working knowledge of the use and application of the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.

The regulative requirements
The scope and object of the Regulations
The fundamental requirements for safety
The definitions and terms used in the Regulations
How protection for safety is achieved
The correct methods of selection and erection
The requirements for special locations
How inspection and testing should be carried out
How to use the Regulations in the design, construction and maintenance of installations.

Who should attend:
Ideal for all those involved in electrical work of any kind. Participants should have an understanding of electrical principles together with an appreciation of electrical installation work practice, and who require to have a good working knowledge of BS7671:2008 (IEE Wiring Regulations, Seventeenth Edition).
Experience:
A basic understanding of electrical principles is recommended in order to be successful on this course which is fast becoming industry standard. This award is also a requirement for those of you registering onto a Part P scheme; your chosen Governing body will request that you obtain this electrical qualification within a 12 month period.

Course objectives:
On successful completion of the course students will have the skills and competency to undertake bathroom installations, including bathrooms, en-suites, showers, repairs and maintenance.
What do I need to bring?
A copy of the BS 7671 (2008) 17th Regulations Edition book. A mobile canteen sells a selection of hot and cold food at lunch time.
